About Us
The Plumbing Pack
Since 2012, The Plumbing Pack has built a strong reputation as a trusted industry leader, helping Australian plumbers grow their businesses with greater confidence, accuracy, and efficiency.
What began as a specialised plumbing estimating service has evolved into a complete online estimating solution. Today, we provide professional instructional estimating courses along with one of the most comprehensive, practical, and user-friendly plumbing estimating programs available on the market.
Based in Gerringong, New South Wales, just 1.5 hours south of Sydney, The Plumbing Pack proudly supports clients across Australia. Because all of our products and services are delivered online, we can work with plumbers nationwide, no matter where they are located.
My focus is simple: to provide plumbers, estimators, and trade business owners with the tools, knowledge, and support they need to estimate faster, price more accurately, and present themselves more professionally.

Andy Farrell
Plumbing Estimator & Educator
I specialise in pricing medium to large-scale plumbing projects, with a passion for teaching plumbers the skill of estimating with confidence and accuracy.
One of the most rewarding parts of what I do is hearing from a client who has just secured their first major project.
Andy Farrell’s story is one of resilience, determination, and a lifelong commitment to the plumbing industry.
Andy entered the plumbing industry in 1997, beginning his apprenticeship with Park Industrial & Commercial Plumbing, a medium-sized Sydney-based company. But in May 2000, at the end of his fourth year, his life changed in an instant when he broke his neck in a fall while competing in the Bridge to Bridge water-ski race on the Hawkesbury River. The extent of his injuries left him an incomplete quadriplegic, and it seemed his future as a plumber had been taken away.
Rather than walking away from the industry, Andy made the decision to fight his way back. Determined to rebuild both his life and career, he returned to TAFE to complete advanced plumbing studies and later undertook computer-aided drafting (CAD) training.
In 2002, Andy re-entered the industry by working in a plumbing office, where he quoted small jobs, managed projects, dealt with customers, and ordered materials. He quickly found a new direction and became determined to build a career in plumbing estimating.
By 2004, Andy had secured a junior estimator role with Axis Plumbing, turning that goal into reality. In the years that followed, he worked with some of Australia’s largest multinational plumbing companies, helping win well over $200 million worth of projects across the country.
Through that experience, Andy developed the knowledge, systems, and practical methods that would eventually become The Plumbing Pack. Since then, he has helped more than 100 small to medium-sized plumbing businesses implement estimating systems and has personally trained hundreds of plumbers to price projects with greater accuracy, confidence, and professionalism.
Today, Andy’s mission is simple: to make professional plumbing estimating easier, faster, and more accessible for plumbers all over Australia.

My Philosophy
Transparency
I believe in creating completely transparent systems and easy to modify to suit your businesses requirements. All the components that make up the standard rates are itemised in a report, so you can see how they are built.
Consistency
Practice makes perfect!
I believe that when you implement consistent systems and procedures, it will lead to ongoing accuracy with your project estimate.
